Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the backend phase of SoC designs. This includes either

synthesis, timing analysis and formal verification or
floorplanning, place & route and layout verification

of SoC designs. You will closely work with front end design engineers and the backend team. During the entire backend phase you will manage customer relations on the technical level.

Experience / Requirements

You have 3+ (Senior: 5+) years experience in synthesis and/or place & route. You are an expert user of EDA tools and have experience with advanced CMOS processes, preferably 90nm or smaller.

For synthesis, experience in VHDL, physical synthesis methodology and static timing analysis are required, basic knowledge about Verilog is expected. You are familiar with DFT concepts and P&R requirements.
For P&R, experience in DRC and LVS, as well as voltage drop, cross talk and electro migration analysis is required.
